No data collection

Random Pick Verse runs entirely in your browser. We do not store your entries on a server, do not require an account, and do not sell data. There is no backend database.

What stays on your device

• Entries & weights — saved to localStorage so your wheel persists between visits.
• Preferences — sound, confetti, theme and duration are stored locally as rpv:* keys.
• History — recent winners stay on your device and can be cleared anytime.

Clearing site data or using private browsing removes this immediately.

Sharing

When you click Share link, your entries are base64-encoded into the URL (?w=). No server stores it — the link itself carries the data. Anyone with the link decodes it locally.

Analytics & cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in the future (e.g. Plausible), it will be cookie-less and documented here.

Third-party resources

Fonts are served via Google Fonts. Confetti is lazy-loaded from cdn.jsdelivr.net only when you spin with confetti enabled. No other third-party scripts run.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data centrally, there is nothing to request. Everything is deletable client-side. For questions: contact us.
